French Island Koalas and Gaol

French Island is an amazing, isolated Island in the middle of Westernport Bay. It is only accessible by boat or helicopter, making it an ideal retreat for those who want to get away from it all. Although this experience is based on 1 night, longer stays can be arranged.

WHAT'S  INCLUDED?

Return helicopter flights to French Island. You will stay at French Island Eco Lodge and enjoy a fabulous night with your hosts Mark and Melinda.

Your accommodation is in the officers section of the old goal, whilst very comfortable it is not what you would call 5 star. French Island is renowned for its peace and isolation, with some magnificent views   Enjoy a magnificent local meal while watching the sun go down over Westernport Bay.

In the morning Lois will collect you for your tour around this precious Island. This will include you very own personal Koala experience. French Island has a very large population of these very cute, furry creatures and Lois will get you right up close. Enjoy afternoon tea in the Chicory Kiln and learn all about the local history before your helicopter arrives to take you back to Phillip Island.
